Black August Music is a Black-owned, charitable, subscription-based music entertainment company investing 100% of profits into the next generation of Black youth. Monthly subscribers help fund its development for $5/month.
$5 a month, billed monthly. You can cancel anytime. There’s no member goal or countdown — Black August Music launches when it’s ready, and your subscription supports that work along the way.
Once Black August Music is self-sustaining, all profit beyond what the company needs is reinvested into Black youth — direct donations to Black-led youth mentorship nonprofits and Black culturally-centered educational youth centers.
We do not release music that uses excessive profanity, glorifies violence or gang activity, uses the N-word or derogatory slurs against women, disrespects or divides the Black community, or promotes hatred or bigotry in any form.
